Install PhotoFindry beta
PhotoFindry is a free native macOS photo tagging and search app for Apple silicon. The current public release is 0.2.0-beta.13, build 108. This guide was updated on 12 October 2026.
Read guide →Your first folder in PhotoFindry
Start with a small folder of photographs you can safely test. Your originals remain in place; PhotoFindry builds a local library of saved details and previews.
Read guide →Search your photographs
PhotoFindry offers ordinary search and an explicit Local AI Search action. Both use your selected library or folder scope; the evidence available depends on what has been saved.
Read guide →Sources, offline previews and backups
Original photographs belong in the folders and drives you choose. PhotoFindry's library stores saved details, people corrections and prepared image copies separately.
Read guide →Troubleshooting PhotoFindry beta
Begin with the visible status and the smallest reproducible example. Keep your library, original files and model settings intact.
Read guide →Privacy, licensing and direct beta distribution
PhotoFindry and its local engine are proprietary and free to use for personal and business use. There is no mandatory app account, subscription, advertising analytics or app telemetry. Optional Buy Me a Coffee support does not unlock features.
